CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique
CNRS: is the largest European Research Organization. Its 10 institutes cover all the areas of the knowledge and employs about 14 000 permanent researchers and 11000 permanent technicians.
The CNRS is represented by the Laboratory “Metabolic and systemic aspects of oncogenesis for new therapeutic approaches” (METSY), joint research unit (UMR) n°9018 of the CNRS and Université Paris-Sud (Université Paris-Saclay). The METSY is located in the campus of the Gustave Roussy, the largest cancer centre in Europe. The team participating in the RISEUP project has a long standing world-wide recognition on its fundamental and translational contributions in the field of the cells electroporation, in vitro and in vivo. The team is also known for its contribution in the understanding of the electroporation phenomenon using chemical approaches (mass spectrometry), optical approaches (RAMAN analysis as well as CARS – Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman –microspectroscopy), and electrical approaches (bio-impedance).
